The Kursaal on your smartphone

This new free app is a guide to events and provides news on the congress centre

An application (app) on the Kursaal is now available for free download to smartphones. It will keep users up to date with all the news from the congress centre and it also includes an events calendar for both cultural events and meetings.

The app can be downloaded at Apple’s APP Store (for iphones) or Google Play (for Androids), and it also gives users access to a mini guide to San Sebastián (hotels, restaurants and other services of interest). It will be of use to citizens, conference participants and visitors, and can be consulted in four languages: Spanish, Basque, French and English. Users won’t forget events at the centre as the app allows them to be added to their personal agenda. It is available for mobile handsets and also for websites, and can be consulted in four languages: Spanish, Basque, French and English. There will also be a webapp version for handsets of other brands that support html5.

With a simple, functional design, the app is designed so that end users – any citizen, sector professionals and of course organisers, conference participants and event attendees – can keep up to date with all the events, unintrusively and in real time.

This user-friendly app places up-to-the-minute information on all the Kursaal’s activities and news at your fingertips, several months in advance. The aim of the service is to enhance the Kursaal brand and provide sector professionals with a highly useful tool. It is an innovation forming part of the Kursaal’s online communication strategy that will keep the conference centre in constant, interactive contact with the public and its users.
