I take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful 2014.
We are two months away from our Annual Meeting and General Assembly in Girona, next 2-4 April 2014.

This year we have a very challenging and good program, an interesting business exchange opportunity and time to interchange experiences and ideas.
Apart from the great destination GIRONA, a city steeped in history, with an excellent geographical location and a reference convention center that makes it an ideal destination for MICE sector, this year’s meeting is an opportunity that you should not miss:

· A very interesting educational program about the theme: “Developing new markets”. We are about to close the panel of speakers, among which are already confirmed:
– Yolanda Perdomo – Director Affiliate members World Tourism Organization
– Rafael Oliver – Responsible for Congress Research Department at Barceló Congresos
– Eric Mottard – Director of EventoPlus
· Client/Supplier Workshop.
After four years we will organize the third Client/Supplier Workshop an important way of contact with influential persons from associations that have potential to come to our destinations, together with a strait networking opportunity among all.
· ICCA Data Base Workshop. New tips to make our use and research more efficient and useful.
· Exchanging information’s about all projects we are working and good ideas among us.
· Dinner with Can Roca Brothers, owners of the famous restaurant Celler Can Roca that has been recently awarded as the “Best Restaurant of the World” in 2013.
· The candidacies for the next Annual Meeting.

I hope that all this is an important incentive to come to this ICCA Annual Meeting and to invite your clients to the client/supplier workshop. We need your collaboration and special effort to invite your client.

Remember to send your applications as soon as possible. Don’t wait till the last minute.
If you have any doubts or suggestions please let us know and be an active part in this program and in the Chapter.

The ICCA Iberian Chapter has, at the moment, 57 members representing the Leading companies and institutions of Portugal and Spain and we hope to be much more and years to come, making clear the importance of IBERIA in the meeting industry.

Come to Girona for the ICCA Iberian Chapter Annual Meeting for a great networking time and share your experience in a fantastic opportunity with other MICE professionals.

Warm Regards and See you all in Girona.
