The Valencia Conference Centre continues to be a pioneer in the use of new technologies

According to international studies, one of the main demands of professional conference organizers is for venues to improve their internet access networks along with the need for enhanced technological services. These two premises are the basis of the Valencia Conference Centre’s commitment to innovation that it has introduced this year to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and continue to be a pioneer in the search for, and implementation of, new technological challenges.

As part of its commitment to continuous improvement and responding to customer needs, the Conference Centre has enhanced its technology with the installation of a fixed Wi-Fi network, which provides simultaneous internet access for 3,000 users. It also offers clients a customised App for events, and has incorporated beacon technology into its technological services.

Besides, the building’s Sustainability Plan will also benefit from this increased commitment to the environment. The new formula offered to customers will strengthen networking and interaction between participants and the organization, and will reduce the amount of paper used to exchange information. Since it was opened, Conference Centre spending has totalled €9.6 million, over half of which has been invested in sustainable initiatives. The most important investment was the installation of the solar roof in 2008, generating almost two million kWh of energy.
